Mycorrhizal

My new jewellery collection of miniature hand carved sculptures in Gold and Silver inspired by Mycorrhizal networks, featuring Diamonds and rubies as the fruit of the gods.

Mycorrhizal networks
are underground hyphal networks created by mycorrhizal fungi that connect individual plants together and transfer water, carbon, nitrogen, nutrients, minerals and information.

The many roles that mycorrhizal networks appear to play in woodland have earned them the nickname: the Wood Wide Web.

By eating the flesh of the gods in Ancient cultures and some still existing, it is believed you can communicate with the ancestors of the Forest. The mycelial network lives for thousands of years and stores all the knowledge of the Forest passing this information through its fungal fruits laced with psilocybin..
